Alex Bank has announced the appointment of Oyishi Haque as Business Development Manager for the NSW/ACT region.

Alex Bank, Australia’s newest digital bank, today announced the appointment of Oyishi Haque as Business Development Manager for NSW/ACT.

The move comes as Alex Bank reports a 220% increase in settlement values in the April Quarter (compared to the corresponding period).

Oyishi has extensive experience working directly with brokers in the consumer lending and asset finance sectors. Oyishi comes to Alex.Bank from ScotPac Business Finance where she was focused on broker business development. Previously, she held roles at Plenti, Shift and Macquarie Bank.

Steven Degetto, Chief Commercial Officer, said, ‘Oyishi's appointment represents yet another milestone for Alex.Bank, as we continue to grow and expand quarter on quarter. Her proven track record of cultivating broker relationships and driving business growth in NSW and ACT will support our growth and presence in these geographies.’

Mr Degetto added, ‘The recent transition of our Secured Personal Loan from pilot phase to official launch earlier this month has further broadened the range of our lending products and enhanced our offerings to brokers and their clients, and we’ve received a positive response from brokers thus far with a significant number of applications for vehicle finance since the launch’.
